The art on the walls is so amazing, so you won't be bored of things to look at and admire. Got tattooed by the best, Luis Arias, he's a true artist and a veteran in the craft. Always good vibes. The other tattoo artists were friendly, welcoming and professional- along with good senses of humor. Real good vibes !“

7771 Sunset Blvd, Los Angeles“Every review about this place is absolutely true. I was so excited but nervous to go through with getting a tattoo. Mind you this is my first time getting quite a big statement tattoo. My artist was Sasha. The whole process from going over the final sketch to the first session went by like a breeze. I felt comfortable throughout the entire process, especially impressed how everything is sterile and clean. I've been following Sasha's work for quite some time. Honored to have a piece done by her. Highly recommend.“

The way he does his art and turning all the designs to reality makes him one of the best out there! Thanks for always coming through bro!!“

5308 N Figueroa St, Los Angeles“I got my first couple tattoos here this past week, and I couldn’t be happier! Becca and Esther did an excellent job and brought my (admittedly kind of vague) ideas to life in such a beautiful way. The interior of the shop is super clean and honestly pretty gorgeous, and everyone at every stage of the process was welcoming and helpful.
This was a wonderful way to start my tattoo journey, and I hope to return for years to come! (also super excited about getting my chest piece colored in!!)“

Not only with the quality of the tattoo, but he made me feel at ease through the whole process. He has created such a welcoming studio and I could not be happier with how the whole process went! He even did research beforehand on the movie behind the color scheme I was looking for! 100/10“

3307 Glendale Blvd, Los Angeles“I had a regrettable backyard tattoo from my youth that made me embarrassed to take off my shirt. After reaching out to multiple tattoo artists, I was met with rejection as no one was willing to take on the challenge of covering up the large, poorly done piece. I had almost given up hope until I saw Jeremy Swanson on the TV show “America’s Worst Tattoos.” His ability to transform terrible tattoos into stunning works of art gave me a glimmer of hope, especially since he was a local artist in Southern California.
When I reached out to Jeremy, he welcomed the challenge with open arms and confidence. He turned my embarrassing mistake into a masterpiece that looks like it belongs in a museum. The compliments I receive now are a testament to his incredible talent.
Jeremy is the real deal. I have since returned to him multiple times to complete a full sleeve, and each experience has been nothing short of amazing. He is a true gentleman who ensures that his clients are well taken care of. If you're looking for an artist who can transform your tattoo ideas into reality, Jeremy Swanson is your guy.“

7353 Melrose Ave, Los Angeles“Needed to kill some time while around the area, so I walked into the shop and was greeted by Kristi. She was super hospitable and let me browse. I decided I wanted a piercing and she was able to slot me in right away. Kristi pierced my upper helix with the flower earring. It went super smooth and she let me hang around after while waiting for my friends to finish their dance class at Playground.“

830 N La Brea Ave, Los Angeles“Just had another sitting with my longtime favorite portrait artist, Adrian Gallegos, who recently joined the team at Malaka Tattoo Collective. This is my 12th (yes, 12th!) portrait tattoo from Adrian, whom I've followed from other renowned LA studios over the last eight years. He always captures the realism of my loved ones down to the tiniest details. I am in awe of his talent, and truly appreciate his professionalism and geniality. My most recent portrait is of my auntie, who recently passed away. She was a cut up--even as a kid! This was one of my favorite photos of her, so of course I'd entrust Adrian to memorialize her in ink. I liked the vibe of Adrian's new "home" at Malaka. It's a modern and very large space, very clean. I observed Drone working with a client while I was there. I noticed he takes the time to listen when consulting placement and design options to balance what the client wants vs what the artist knows will be a satisfactory outcome. That's a green flag in my book.“

1420 S Figueroa St, Los Angeles“I decided to pierce my nose after contemplating whether or not I should , only because several years back I pierced my bellybutton I must say it was an unpleasant experience. I'm glad I went to Bad Hands tattoo where I was recommended to . Cheech walked me through the entire process . Which may I add was very professional and in my opinion a master at his craft . I barely felt the piercing go through . It was more like just a light pressure and tada it was done . Must also add I am very pleased with the fact that he completely prepared everything and properly sanitized everything. Cheech made it all so great . Thank to Cheech and bad hands tattoo. I highly recommend this shop to all . Thanks Bea Mendez“

S Curson Ave, Los Angeles“I had an amazing experience with John! He was incredibly attentive from start to finish, listening carefully to my ideas and offering expert advice to tweak the designs just perfectly. His commitment to cleanliness and safety really stood out—he made sure everything was spotless, wore a mask the entire time, and took every precaution to prevent germs. He checked in with me the next day and on the day I was supposed to remove the protection film to ensure everything was healing properly. The attention to detail and care he put into his work truly shows. I couldn’t be happier with the results and would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an exceptional, safe, and professional tattoo experience. Thank you for the beautiful art! I'm definitely coming back if I decide to do it again!“

Spring Arts Tower, Los Angeles“First time tattoo experience was great one! Justine was everything I needed as a first timer. I, loved the atmosphere. It was so relaxed unlike the hundreds of shops I walked into. From the start I was welcomed. Everything was clean and so private which is a great plus. I loved the colors options, and the fact that the ink is vegan is even better! Less toxins and chemicals. I love my tattoo. She did great job. I will be back if I am in the market to get another one. Thank you. I will recommend.“
“Ric is absolutely amazing and my favorite tattoo artist by far!!!! He did an incredible job with a fig idea I had and made it absolutely perfect.
