My friend recommended Sun Spa a few months ago. I was finally able to go last week and was very happy that I went. The shop is very clean and beautifully decorated. The lady at the front desk was very nice and accommodating. But I must say that Tommy, my masseuse, was exceptional. I travel a lot for business and get massages quite often. This massage was definitely in my top 5. I will definitely be back soon.

This is my second massage service with them. This is a Perfect Place for me because it's a stone throw from where I live. EXCEPT for the SHEETS & STUFF OR WHAT THEY CALL (CHEAP) DECOR IN THE ROOMS. What's up with 2 Rolls of Toilet Paper in the Massage Room? YUK! NOT TOO ZEN! TACKY MORE LIKE. WHO OWNS THIS PLACE? IT LOOKS LIKE THE SHEETS, BLANKETS & TOWELS WERE FROM THE 70'S. There's a Spa in every corner where I live. If they don't spend money cleaning up; changing; spending more money on the Sheets, Towels, Blankets, Lotions (smells awful! - try essential oils). I Love That This Is Close & Have Male Masseur's That I Have To Tell Them Or Explain What "Deep Tissue" Is? Seriously? If I have to Pay $65.00/45 min. Then, they insist a $10.00-$15.00 Tip. Plus a 20% charge on Credit Cards. HIGHWAY ROBBERY. THE MOST THEY CHARGED IS 5%. Yes Sir I'm on to you guys. TOTAL: $80.00! Yippeyayeahh! Yes, you also stop 15 min. before the hour and ask me to turn over? For what? MY BACK; ARMS; LEGS & SHOULDER HURTS HONEY, NUT-HING IN FRONT HURTS! TOMMY IS STILL BETTER THAN POTTER! So, for all my LGBTIA Legitimate Massage Enthusiast Bros & Sis, please ask for him. I'll try them again hoping they have more than two. The lady in the front desk somehow eluded they have different ones daily? Unless they ban me for this 4stars?

I've been coming to Sun Spa for almost two years, and I've always gotten the most courteous and professional service. I threw out my back in 2014 and messed up my L3 and L4 pretty bad. I saw numerous physical therapists and doctors, but the only thing that wound up working/helping was Thai massage. More importantly, I visited several Thai massage places in the East Hollywood area where I live, and Sun Spa was by far the best. I brought my wife here a year ago and we've both been coming back ever since because the people are so nice and the massage is so healing and therapeutic. The prices are very reasonable and competitive with other places in the area. They also will offer groupons if I recall. The place is very clean and well lit--even the bathrooms. (If a place doesn't have a clean bathroom then there's probably little hope for the rest of it!) Their towels are always fresh and clean, and the temperature in the rooms is always just right. The people here work very hard to make Sun Spa as good as it is. They are some of the nicest, most caring people I've met in the neighborhood. I was sad to see some recent negative reviews about the place. Not sure what that's about, but my wife and I have never had any issues or felt sketchy. If the place really were that sketchy, then why has it been around for so many years? Note they only have 1 dedicated parking spot in what can be a very crowded parking lot with Pa Ord Noodle next door. Pro tip: park in the pollo loco lot nearby. There seem to always be spaces there.
