Sparrow's Nest Wellness Center for Moms is a trusted sanctuary for fertility, pregnancy, and postpartum care, established in 2011. The center focuses on maternity massages and Mercier Therapy fertility support, dedicated to the whole well-being of its customers. Services include prenatal, labor induction, postpartum, and lactation massages, as well as C-section scar rehabilitation and bereavement massage. Another customer, 38 weeks pregnant, had an "amazing" 90-minute labor-inducing massage, leaving her feeling very comfortable. I am so happy that I decided to attend the infant massage class with Sparrow, my doula, my own prenatal masseuse and friend. There was so much incorporated- the proven benefits of infant massage, tips, tricks, techniques, resources, and sweet lullabies and things that enhance the experience using all the senses. My 6 month old son and I have such a connection with Sparrow. He really took to her in their interaction during class, and her kind soothing tone and gestures. This class allowed us to get out of the house, bond in a new way and meet other families in the community. It is so wonderful for both parents, especially, to take part in and obtain knowledge that can greatly enhance you and your baby's bond for a lifetime. Sparrow has worked with me through the pregnancies and the completely natural and healthy births of my two children. During my pregnancies Sparrow helped relieve some pain across my entire back and on my legs due to sciatica. Having the massage at my home was definitely an added benefit because I was able to sleep comfortably right after! She was also my doula during the birthing of my two children. She offered wonderful support to both my husband and I. We spoke many times before the birth about what we hoped for and she was always open to my plans. As the date grew near she was in constant contact letting me know where I could reach her. During the birth she offered me massages, aromatherapy and really made sure my husband and I got what we needed. Sparrow was truly in touch with how important this entire experience was for us. One thing I will always remember was when I was in transition and she told us she was going to step outside to give us a moment together before the baby came. It was a great way for us to reconnect for a minute before the "Oh my God, we are now parents!" feeling came on. Thank you for everything Sparrow, you are amazing!!
