My favorite hotel! I travel weekly and stay at hotels all over the place, coming to the SLS is my absolute favorite. The staff, the beds, the room service, the bar/speakeasy, house car, pool…everything is amazing. The staff truly care and are there to make your stay perfect! Do yourself a favor and stay here - it’s worth it I promise!
Staff are friendly but service is a disaster. Left room at 9am. Retuned at 3pm still not cleaned. They gave some excuse but its basically just sloppy management. Restaurant is disorganized and hostess has no idea what service means. Told her we were in a hurry. Sat us at a table she said had a waitress that was less busy so would be faster. Server took order of people who sat beside us and AFTER us first. Told hostess who was clueless about how to resolve issue. Hard product showing age. Update: after bringing the above issues to the attention of management, they reached out and proposed multiple solutions which were satisfactory.
It wasn't bad, but it felt a little old, the bathtub and shower were unique but not comfortable, the bed was a bit hard and uncomfortable, and there was noise from people partying on a Friday night, so I wasn't satisfied with the price. Still, if you are looking for advantages, the room size is relatively large and the location and security are good.
