Hello, is Jose G. Camarena the same gentleman that runs the dry cleaners at 1556 W 6th and 601 S Figueroa? I'm a long time Sloan's patron of 45 years. My father relied on Sloan's at least 30 years prior to that! Always received top notch quality, friendly service, fast turn around, and great pricing! Last week just so happened by daughter's 2005 Chevy Impala broke down right in front of your 1556 W 6th St. shop. Mr. Camarena himself personally came out, tended to her needs, and watched out for her until help arrived -- almost 3 hours later! Jose is a true man of class. Two things: Make sure you bring your cleaning ticket with you and this place is cash-only! Otherwise Sloan's is a great cleaners to come to in this area of town. The manager Jose is pretty chill to. Not only do they do dry cleaning, but they pretty much do all types of work here. They can clean your rugs, blankets, comforters, and if you have Egyptian Cotton sheets they can even clean those as well. They can repair shoes, and even repair zippers on duffel bags and most types of luggage. I had them do some clothing repairs for me and they do a good job at sewing, repairing rips, and even hemming and alterations.
