The old roof was not leaking but was 31 years old and it seemed best to replace it before painting the house. Best West is an independent company and Samuel the owner and I was in contact with him for every detail. He recommended a full tear-off of the old roof. Although I was initially reluctant to, I'm glad we did as it revealed some minor wood rot problems near the eaves where the gutters had failed. The entire job was completed from Monday to Friday, including tear-off, wood replacement and installation of the old attic vents with newer low-profile ones. Carlos and the crew were on time every day and always cleaned up thoroughly before they left. Samuel's bid was the most competitive of the 3 that I received and I couldn't be happier with the job but especially with the communication and rapport that I had with Samuel.“
