I give a big thank you to Gilbert for giving me an awesome haircut. He was friendly, professional and had expert precision in giving me the cut I wanted --and needed! It was a wonderful experience, with some good laughs along the way. Prior to arriving at Public Service Salon for the first time, I had very long, moppy hair. Gilbert crafted it into a cool and edgy cut I've never had before now. It looks great dry, without product, with product, tousled and straight. I've never had that experience with my hair before. Thanks, Gilbert for making my first experience at Public Service Salon a great one!

Rolled the dice, trusted the Yelp reviews, and booked an appointment. Lucky to have landed in the hands of Gilbert. Professional experience beyond any I've ever had. As any guy knows, most of the chop-shop barber shops in town start swinging clippers like the place was on fire. You always leave feeling they've cut too much, too quickly. Not Gilbert. He spent as much time understanding and explaining my hair as cutting. I was completely blown away by the results. Natural look, without the awkward 'high and tight' of most overly-eager barbers.
