Placer Auto Registration and Multi services

I went to get something notarized here a couple years ago. I had a valid notary commission at the time but I needed to have an item notarized for a client and the person requesting the item wouldn't accept me doing it myself.I went to the UPS store first and they told me their notary wasn't in but that the insurance spot next door had a notary. I go into the insurance business and hand the notary my document. She tells me she can't notarize it because it's already signed and that I need to bring another copy of it without a signature and sign it in front of her.
