“By far one of the best studios for photographers or filmmakers in Los Angeles! The team at Apex went above and beyond for a recent filmmaking workshop we held out of their location. The 7th floor stayed cool even with 70 people inside of it during a hot summer day. The space made everyone feel comfortable with way enough room in either of their studios.

It was downtown and really central to everything else, not a bad drive at all from the airport. While it's on a really busy street, parking really isn't that difficult - lots of lots nearby to use during the day or I always just book a spot on Spothero nearby.

I'd rent an Apex Photo studio anytime again.“

“I came to Brynne/Backroom Boudoir to do my wedding boudoir shoot. I came across her yelp while anxiously searching where I would do this. Coming across her, I found a place where I could do hair, makeup, the shoot AND she will make the beautiful vegan leather book?! Sold. I am all about efficiency and it seemed like Brynne knew what she was doing. On the day of the shoot, I arrive, greeted with bubbles and hair and makeup. This got me relaxed and confident for the shoot. While I was still a tad nervous Brynne worked her magic in her beautiful/trusting studio and made me feel so comfortable. From beginning to end my experience with Backroom Boudoir is everything I could have dreamed of. “Cristen is the full package (she provides hair, makeup, venue and is the photographer). She even went above and beyond and was emotionally supportive. As a personal self-love exercise and plus sized woman, I hired her to do a boudoir photoshoot to help with my confidence and self-love journey. Cristen helped put my anxieties at ease about certain aspects of the photoshoot. This was super helpful! Furthermore, I was surprised at how good she was at my hair and makeup. I just thought that I couldn't look good in curls and that I would never be able to pull off curls but I was wrong! Cristen is multi-talented!!! I wish I could do my hair the way she does it. Both hair and makeup were so beautiful!! Her space is really beautiful, esthetic and carefully curated. I wish I was skilled enough to have this type of eye. During the photoshoot, she gave me a lot of verbal queues and that was super helpful! She will walk you through the process and the poses with compassion and encouragement. She is truly so sweet and personable. I received my photos from the first photoshoot and they're breathtaking! My sister couldn't believe that I was the person in the photos but I am! I already booked my second photoshoot with her for later this month.
