I can't say enough positive things about Muttineer Dog Training! Thank you so much to Jocelyn for helping me train my very shy and sensitive puppy, Wren. Each week that we met with Jocelyn, we learned more- it really helped me feel like Wren and I were learning how to communicate. Jocelyn truly understands dogs, and it shows. Worked with Jocelyn to help our 10 month old pup get used to us being out and about. Over the course of 4 weeks it was amazing to see his confidence grow and now we are not worried about leaving him home along for hours at a time.
Definitely takes a time and persistent commitment, but Jocelyn did a great job with setting up good missions and feedback to build up Kaiju's confidence.
Did the Reactive Rovers package with our 85lb reactive pitbull Summer of 2024. If you want a trainer who is thorough, prepared, and not afraid of large dogs with a bite history, Muttineer is the place for you. What I loved about working with Jocelyn is her patience during sessions, the homework she gave us in between sessions so we can continue to see improvement, and her use of the animal's natural behavior. We are still using some of the techniques we learned and our boy is continuing to increase his threshold for other dogs little by little. Thankful we found Muttineer when some other trainers wouldn't even work with us.
