I've been coming to Melrose Tanning Company for a year now and I have to say this place is the BEST. First off the owner is so kind as well as the other staff. I'm always greeted with kindness. If I have any questions, they are answered! Second, the place is CLEAN. Never have I ever had an issue with a dirty bed, etc. Third, the membership prices are unbeatable!! Before I officially got a membership with Melrose Tanning, I went to 5 different tanning salons and none of them could compare to this salon. I highly recommend Melrose Tanning!!
I checked out all the salons in the area and Melrose had the best prices. What I really like is that all the employees are super friendly without attitude. They've got a good assortment of beds, booths, and spray-on to choose from. And if you take a look at their membership packages, they've got some amazing deals. I can't imagine you'll find better ones anywhere else.
In my 20+ years in LA, I've been to many tanning salons in the West Hollywood/Hollywood area. I've stuck with Melrose Tanning the longest because I really like the machines, location, and down to earth nature of the owner, Mason. Occasionally during busy times, the front desk will be 3 or 4 people deep needing to get into a bed. Mason and his team consistently get everyone to where they need to be skillfully, swiftly, and with a smile! I really appreciate the ingenuity behind repurposing a stand-up tanning booth for use as a red light booth instead, replacing the UV bulbs with red light bulbs, and nearly doubling the bulbs used in the standard Beauty Angel booth! I don't know of any other area salon in the area with this many red light bulbs. I actually prefer the slightly shorter treatment time so I can get in and out, and continue with my day.
