Don’t go here, I believe this place is a scam. My car died and I was told by the tower it may be a transmission issue. I called this place to have it looked at and the man on the phone offered to tow it. The address here says it’s in Marina del rey which was only about 5 miles from where my car was. The car had been switched into neutral previously (using the safety switch) in order to tow it. After looking at my car this man calls me and tells me it’s going to be $2,000 for a “new transmission switch” bc they can’t put the car back in drive without it. Very obviously trying to scam me. When I first used his service for an engine swap things were okay until every other service. He was horrible with calling back and updating me on my car, when I called to schedule a pickup or it would happen days or a week later 2 or 3 calls later I had to reschedule a lot. Not only that but the worst part my car was fine until the very last time I had him work on it. He was suppose to fix this issue with it starting. He claimed he was only tightening the belts. He drops it off, leaves in a rush, I call and Ask him to come back check on my car because I tested it as he left because the check engine light comes on, my car starts shaking extremely badly. I call Stephan and he says he put some kind of cleaning agent in the engine allow it to settle. 2 weeks later he stops by as the shaking gets worse I'm scared to drive it. He claims a spark plug got pushed out and gas got into the engine just needs to burn out. So far not much has changed and all I get is ignored calls. You would think out of courtesy if it were he would try to drain it out the car or something but it never happened. He was just like drive it and it will burn out. It still hasn't happened. I'm just at a point I'm replacing the car now that I can but he definitely lost a customer.
I had him "fix " my car and he gave it back worst than it was it didn't even want to turn on anymore he didn't return my call when I was trying to reach to him he charge me 3500 and also He keep my 50,000 miles 2016 Nissan pathfinder motor this guy is the worst person I meet in my life
