I waited a while to write this review as I was really on the fence about it. We went to Sepulveda Animal Clinic for many years, but after Dr Galea retired, I needed a new vet and ended up here. As others have said in their reviews, the general vibe in the place is rather cold. I saw Dr. Cola who also had a very cold and slightly sarcastic personality. Not what you want in a vet. But what really mattered was solving my dog's issue, so I didn't focus too much on that. I gave her a chance and followed up with a few more visits. I continued to find her very short and dismissive. It was also very hard to get in touch with anybody in this office for follow-up inquiries.... read full review

Dr Brooks and her staff are very caring, devoted and effective. My dog Mocha had a medical problem with confusing symptoms that VCA ER was not able to get to the bottom of unless we waited all night. I called Mar Vista Vet and they got him in very quickly and worked around my schedule, made sure to thoroughly rule out high acuity medical issues such as pancreatitis, and when my dog left we knew his symptoms where not related to anything other than his back aches. When Mocha left Mar Vista Vet he was happy and feeling better. Thank you Dr Brooks and Mar Vista Vet staff for being there for Mocha!

Needed an emergency deworming for my dog; this place was one of the only ones open Sunday, and they saw me and treated my dog promptly and at very reasonable prices. I would 100% recommend this place for anyone nearby.
