They send emails offering a monetary reward on a Amazon Gift Card for answering their polls. On the last page they tell you, that you'll only receive the half of the money offered in the e-mail. Later on, you get the Amazon Gift Card with the original amount. Confusing.
DL Kirkwood. LRW is a marketing research firm with many clients. The survey you had probably didn't need anymore people with your demographics or unfortunately bugged out in some way. That does not mean LRW/the survey thinks you are not intelligent or anything else you said.
