Today I took the Los Angeles Conservancy's Historic Downtown Tour with a fellow history lover. We both thoroughly enjoyed it. Our tour guide, Barbara, was wonderful, knowledgeable, and personable. The tour was about two and a half hours long and interesting throughout. We learned about Pershing Square, the Millennium Biltmore Hotel, the PacMutual building, the Los Angeles Central Library, Angels Flight Railway, the Million Dollar Theatre, the Bradbury Building, and more. It was fun to go inside some of these buildings. We also learned about the history of Los Angeles and Los Angeles building codes. Really enjoyed the walking tour with docent Tom. He's incredibly knowledgeable, friendly, and gracious. I'd recommend the conservancy tours to anyone interested in architecture or LA history.

Just did the “Past meets Present” tour with Chris. These tours are the best way to walk the city, learn and appreciate its history and architecture. Chris really took it to the next level and made it so interesting and inspiring! Would highly recommend!
