I'm excited to give the 1st 5 star review! I have scoliosis and have had back problems my entire life. I learned long ago that some mid west blonde mom at Burke Williams wasn't going to solve anything by lightly stroking my back. I also have been to plenty of cheap places that beat me up but don't fix anything long term even if it feels good.Oliver is hands down the absolute best masseuse I've ever had. Some of these reviews are half true. He does tend to focus on the areas that need the most work. If you want someone to go through the motions and take exactly an hour, that doesn't solve anything. You can't solve an entire body in one session.The first time I saw Oliver he noticed my curled up posture right away so he spent most of our time trying to loosen the muscles around my neck and shoulders. It definitely hurt in the best way. You can tell he has years of experience and knows exactly what muscles affect each other.He said come back and let's work on it again. My second appointment last week was even more painful yet amazing! He did make time for the rest of my body especially my tight legs and pained wrists. I was sore for a day but a week later, my posture is better than it's been in YEARS! I feel great!Oliver cares about his clients and is under priced for the deep knowledge he uses to correct pain.If you want light pressure.. what exactly do you want? I went in for an hour massage and I got Oliver. I’ve only had about four male masseuse, and one of them who tried to massage me above my upper thigh. I had to ask that one to leave. So now I get a little guarded with a male masseuse. No need to worry about Oliver, he was awesome!The lights stayed on the whole time, and he put a towel over my eyes when I was facing up so the light wouldn’t bother me. I must have been under three layers of modesty sheets. It was like being in a warm cocoon. It was soooo delightful.He found all the problem spots in my shoulders.
