After much research into the brush stroke tattoo style, I found KaHo and contacted him on his website. I traveled from Northern California down to LA for my appointment. He was fantastic to work with! I feel so lucky to have found him. My tattoo designs needed revisions to get them just right. He worked with me via email and spent a significant amount of time the day of the appointment making the necessary adjustments until I felt comfortable moving forward. That's the kind of consultation I needed and hoped for, as I do not take the process lightly. I greatly appreciate his attention to detail and perfection. His work space/studio is kept impeccably clean and comfortable, which is especially important for long sessions. He completed two very different Arabic calligraphy designs for me (not pictured for privacy, but check out his website) and I love them both. Pre tattoo: I found Ka through Yelp and I contacted him on his website. He responded very quickly and was very responsive with every single email I sent him. The entire process leading up to the tattoo was fantastic. We collaborated and modified the image to exactly what I wanted.Day of: So this isn't your normal tattoo shop. It's a private studio, catered in to giving you the best optimal experience of getting a tattoo. From the moment you enter to the moment you leave, Ka makes sure his attention is centered on you and your tattoo. While filling out paperwork, Ka was working on the finalizing of my tattoo and printing out different sizes. We then tested different sizes and placements to find the optimal and best area for the tattoo. After finalizing, he put the stencil on and we began to tattoo.Tattooing: He's very meticulous and focused while tattooing, but also very kind. He talks to you and treats you as if you've been best friends for years. His line work is exceptional and his outlines are solid. His tattooing is very thorough and we took breaks to make sure that the tattoo was coming out amazingly. He would constantly check in and ask if I was ok. His attention to detail in the tattoo is exceptional.I would highly recommend him to anybody who is looking for a more personal experience when getting a tattoo.

KaHo is really amazing, and I'm so happy that I got to work with him. Prior to our appointment, he was really quick to reach out and help me with scheduling a tattoo appointment. We talked about the pricing, and I sent over the deposit. About two days before the appointment, he sent over a design based on the reference pictures which I submitted. I sent back some changes based on my personal preferences, and he made the changes accordingly. His design was awesome and really aligned with my vision for my tattoo. I could tell that he spent a lot of time looking at my reference pictures and then making a design based on those pictures. For example, I had two calligraphy pieces tattooed, and there's three of the same Chinese characters in the tattoos. I originally thought that KaHo would just write the same character in the same exact way three times, but he actually made each iteration of the character look different in the tattoos! That's just the level of detail and attention which you can expect from KaHo.During our appointment, we had a great conversation, and he really put a lot of my nerves regarding getting tattooed at ease. He also went back over my tattoos three times and made sure that he filled in and added all of the details. Once again, I could tell that he puts a lot of detail and care into his work. If you're on the fence about KaHo, but you love his work, just reach out to him and schedule an appointment! I highly recommend him, and his quality of work is incredibly high!
