For all of my brothers and sisters in Los Angeles or nearby, I have found an actual hardworking, rather economical and especially and surprisingly HONEST auto mechanic. His name is Jose of J+J repair at 1172 N. Western, very close to Santa Monica Blvd and before you get to Fountain/Sunset. My fave story so far is when i got an actuator and motor to repair my front driver's side window. When I went to pick up the truck he handed me something which turned out to be the motor. He said it was just the actuator and I could use the motor later as a spare. For me finding an honest auto mechanic is as difficult or maybe more so than finding an honest used car salesman, of which we all know is worse than finding a needle in the proverbial haystack! Kudos Jose and all your hard working and informed fellas... P.S. Today, armed with info from the other guy that changed my catalytic converter(which Jose does not do) that I was running lean and needed the PCV valve and for a vacuum leak, Jose hooked up the truck to the computer and told me quite frankly there was no issue whatsoever and the other guy was just trying to fake it for more business. Trust Jose....cause I do.... and after a lifetime of dealing with thieves and scumbags in ALL arenas my trust is quite difficult to earn!

We had an issue with our car where we needed to get it fixed right away because we are on a trip. Not only did they give us an amazing price, but they had it done in 30 minutes. I will never go anywhere else! Highly recommend.Service: General repairs & maintenance
