I have to say they really took care of us when my Aunt passed away 3 years ago. Mr. Frances (I hope I have the right name) was very accommodating and worked damn hard to ensure the service and burial was properly taken care of, but it's the other staff that I had to constantly follow up on, but they always came through. Be kind to them, they only have a hand full of people and the deaths have increased dramatically since Covid. We're preparing another service there for my Aunt's husband and they've been great in helping put everything together.
Where do I start my experience with the house of Winston mortuary was so wonderful. Everything was perfect. They took care of my family's needs, and they have very competitive pricing. There was no up selling. There was no attempt to play on our emotions. If you're looking for a family owned business which serves the community in a positive light. Don't hesitate to let them take care of your families needs. Losing a loved one is difficult enough. You don't need to have to worry too.
House of Winston Funeral Services, Inc.I came to the House of Winston to pay my respects and show support to a coworker whose son had passed. I did not get to see or partake in other aspects of the funeral services, just the vistation room.First impressions. Unless you are lucky, parking is hard to find. You could have to drive a ways down the street.The establishment was pretty busy when I got there and stayed busy. Evidently death is a booming business. The place was clean. Staff was professionally dressed. I don't know their pricing but the room where I signed the book and got to see the customer in his casket was small to the point of being crowded.
