Place is always packed on the weekends. However Herminia is quick and gets her work done. Herminia has done my mom’s hair for years- she’s cut it and dyed it. She’s also cut my hair for years too and I just let her do an ombre on my hair. She shows you what she is using and gets to work. Prices are very affordable for a quality job. Ladies, she also does waxing!

I bring my kids because it's a quiet area and I always find parking nearby. She s always given everyone in my family a great cut. Only downfall here is she is the only one here. It's never been busy when I come by which is during the week and in the afternoon. But I have driven by on weekends and it gets busy. Plus you can't beat the $7 price in L.A.

I have been coming to Herminia's for years! Only she can cut my hair the exact way that I want it. I dread Wednesdays if I need a haircut, as she takes it off to rest; that's how much I like her work. I have never left without giving her a good tip. Last year, I moved to Mission Viejo (yes, in the OC, further than Irvine) and returned to LA for each one of my haircuts throughout this time. I am unwilling to test out other people as it always ends up in disappointment. I know Herminia will do a good job and the drive is totally worth it for me.
