Very unprofessional. Cannot keep appointment times. Things that can be handled in one visit spread over multiple appointments to collect co-pays. If you are a young person, you will be bumped in line while waiting for dr for every geriatric patient that walks in. Dr is rushed and doesn't address patient symptoms or concerns. Staff besides front desk is great but the rest of this office is a mess.
I was referred to Dr. Cho for cataract surgery and had both eyes operated by Dr. Cho. The result is fair, not as good as Dr. Claimed but I can survive.I had at least 10 visits during the surgery and post surgery. The whole place was, in one word, like a crowded market place! Mostly Korean speaking people . Waiting and yelling and etc.The doctor seemed so busy, and I do not think he spent more thane one minute average during my visits! I am fully insured and I could have gone to any institution I wanted such as UCLA Medical Center. This Serrano Eye Center is a night mare for patient care!I will never go back there.
We found another doctor that is a specialist and the EXACT same procedure she needs to regularly get, no longer hurts her. I mean it was really hurting when going to this Dr. I can't believe how desensitized some Doctors are and treat people like numbers, that's what we felt like. Any questions we ask was replied by "it's ok" without the kind of communication we needed. I heard about doctors who become doctors because their parents wants them to or they do it for status or money, I'm not sure that's the case for this place but we sure did feel like another number.
