It's amazing to me that Eileen Lanza would be ok with representing a building with rats and rat mite infestation, previous black mold reports, and a building that is managed by a company and landlord that serve illegal 3 day notices on tenants during LA City's State Of Emergency Order. (and yes, Ms. Lanza, since you threatened "action" in your response below, the infestation of biting mites were identified this week as Ornithonyssus bacoti (tropical rat mite) by a licensed Entomologist recommended by LA Vector control.)In addition, licensed Los Angeles City realtors know LA City's Rent Stabilization Ordinance (RSO) applies to all buildings of two or more units built before...read full review
We first met Eileen a few years ago, when we were not quite ready to buy yet but wanted to start preparing and understanding what to expect. Eileen was fantastic from the start - she was very kind and patient, answering our many questions. As first-time buyers and people who tend to be fiscal worrywarts living in the crazy market of Los Angeles, purchasing a home was not going to be a fast and easy process. We finally purchased a home in September 2020, which is nothing short of a miracle considering the LA market and COVID. Eileen really came through for us, constantly arranging showings (a real pain because of the pandemic, and she was always very cautious and safe on that front) and communicating with listing agents on our behalf. When we were in escrow on our house, she managed to get us thousands of dollars back from the sellers during negotiations, which we thought would be impossible in such a seller's market. We LOVE our new space and are so grateful to be where we ended up. Thanks Eileen!
