Came here for my mum's eye appt. The waiting area is clean and has many seats. And they have restrooms next to the security in the hall. You have to ask for the key. I don't know how good of service they provide here, but as far as scheduling appts, they were a 1 star for that. We came last time and they made us leave after a month waiting period saying that her doctor wasn't there because he's doing surgery for someone. At least have the decency to give us heads up to change our appt ahead of time; we have to fight traffic and drive almost an hour just to come here. Again, it happened again today, her doctor wasn't here and wanted my mum to reschedule or go with a different doctor. Mum felt bad for making me take her so she went with a different doctor here. This isn't right to do to an elderly and make her worry and suffer. This place needs someone who can schedule right; it's not rocket science to do that!! The 1 star is NOT how they do good or bad with their eye surgery or check up. The 1 star is for the person scheduling the appt because it sucks!!!
I've been coming here a bit more or less annually, and it was delight to be welcomed to by the friendly staff again. The office felt clean, comfortable, and I definitely felt safe in the waiting space with how COVID cautious everything was laid out. Aside from the service always being immaculate , Dr. Khwarg and the incredibly nice staff are one of the reasons I always return!
I had been going to see Dr. Lee for years along with my husband and daughter on the same insurance for many years with nothing changing. When I needed eye surgery, their surgery center didn't take my insurance so they just told me "sorry we cannot do the surgery". They made no effort to find another surgery center or go to Good Samaritan right down the street which is fully covered. After years of my entire family going here, they were too lazy to simply find a surgery center to do the surgery. Their front desk people are also impossible to deal with. Honestly, the doctors there are very good but when you have patients that have seen you for years with their entire family, you can at least make a small effort to find another surgery center to accommodate a simple eye surgery. Extremely disappointed. I felt like we were so loyal and went to them for so many years to be simply abandoned when they needed to make a small amount of effort to go to another surgery center. There are hundreds of surgery centers in LA.
