We just bought the home and had them give me an estimate just to get an idea and see if it was even worth fixing. All we had was plywood down for flooring, and some drywall had holes in it, and cabinets without the counter top. They showed up the very next day and I was happily surprised with the cost. Thomas and his crew were very kind, knowledgeable, organized and proactively communicated updates throughout the project. The remodel took about 3-4 weeks and we were so pleased with the overall pace. “I called CAP Board-up after receiving a very high quote from another company. We had been broken into and urgently needed to repair a sliding glass door. CAP was very fast to respond and did a great job at a respectful price. I say respectful because we were upset on having been robbed and the other company seemed to take advantage of our desperate situation. Not CAP. Their technician cleaned up the glass and secured the door without any damage to the frame. I was also able to pay by Venmo which made everything easy. A good experience in a difficult context.“

“I was referred to Kary and All Home Management by a trusted friend and entered a maintenance contract with him for our home in Jan 2017. Since then, I have used his team for extensive work in that home, the remodel of a new home, and ongoing maintenance needs of our (now) 2 properties in west LA. Specific items they have successfully facilitated for us in an ongoing maintenance role include: - removal & replacement of an A/C unit a (complicated) oceanside roof - replacement of tanked water heater with tankless heater - extensive repainting of exterior railings and gates - sourcing & management of window UV coating - service of washing machine & refrigerator - extensive touch up interior paint plus more Specific items they have successfully facilitated for us in a remodel setting include: - extensive repainting of home interior - replacement of all kitchen hardware (knobs & pulls) - installation of 40+ light fixtures - addition of new electrical outlet(s) - demo of built-in + replacement with newly designed desk built-in - cabinetry-grade refinishing (bathroom, bar, kitchen island, stairs) - honing and sealing marble counters In addition to communicating with me in our residence, he works seamlessly with a property manager we use for our second home. Things are rarely perfect in a construction setting but what I really like is that Kary stands behind his & his subcontractors' work when mistakes are made or $hit inevitably happens. As a specific example, we had to have some wood planks refinished after the moving in of a massive A/C unit scratched them up while being manually carried up 3 brutal flights of stairs. The refinishing wasn't completed well by the wood sub and it looked awful the first two tries. Kary paid to have a full section of the planks fully replaced (without a blink) and took full responsibility until we were happy with the outcome. He didn't battle my opinion or dissatisfaction - just said "I'm not happy until you're happy so that's unacceptable" and had it fixed. The icing on the cake for me has been a recent situation in which our newly purchased, new construction home (not built by him) developed a horrible roof leak that caused water intrusion into our master and associated mold. While fighting with our unresponsive original builder to try to help us remedy under our home warranty, Kary has been an invaluable resource & trusted guide. My husband travels frequently and was traveling with this occurred. I have a 6 month old baby and Kary has been extremely watchful of our family and mindful of helping me through this. Not only has Kary picked up my calls at all hours -- he has consistently "shown up" when I have been otherwise left high and dry. I have referred him to multiple friends including our high-end interior designer for her projects - all of whom have been thrilled with his work. I don't usually write reviews this long but feel his integrity warrants it.“

“We finished a large remodel of our house with Tal and the LA Remodeling team in February of 2022 and could not be any happier with the results and the entire experience. Our house was built in 1935 and we wanted to open the space up by adding a small amount of new square footage and also refresh and update the entire house. Tal was a great partner and delivered a final product that exceeded our expectations and was delivered on time and on budget.There are a few areas where Tal and his team really excelled. Tal's communication and responsiveness over the course of the project were fantastic. He responded very quickly to texts and emails and actually answered his phone when I called. Any time an unforeseen issue came up he contacted us immediately so we could find a solution promptly.Throughout the process, Tal was very conscious of our budget and was able to deliver on our plan at the budget we agreed upon. In the instances where we did adjust the budget it was driven by our decision to make a change or upgrade to the original plan. Tal was great about presenting options in these scenarios to help us make decisions.Both the speed and quality of his work were exceptional as well. One of the most valuable assets that Tal brought to our project was his team. His crews were always ready and available to do their portion of a project very quickly. There was never a time when we were waiting on his team for any work. Any delays we experienced were related to broader supply chain issues (order your windows and doors early!). Also, the quality of the work was fantastic. The LA Remodeling crews are all pros, real craftsmen, and meticulous in everything they do. They're also great people that you feel good about having in your home. We really enjoyed working with and getting to know them.
