I was referred to Kary and All Home Management by a trusted friend and entered a maintenance contract with him for our home in Jan 2017. Since then, I have used his team for extensive work in that home, the remodel of a new home, and ongoing maintenance needs of our (now) 2 properties in west LA. Specific items they have successfully facilitated for us in an ongoing maintenance role include: - removal & replacement of an A/C unit a (complicated) oceanside roof - replacement of tanked water heater with tankless heater - extensive repainting of exterior railings and gates - sourcing & management of window UV coating - service of washing machine & refrigerator - extensive touch up interior paint plus more Specific items they have successfully facilitated for us in a remodel setting include: - extensive repainting of home interior - replacement of all kitchen hardware (knobs & pulls) - installation of 40+ light fixtures - addition of new electrical outlet(s) - demo of built-in + replacement with newly designed desk built-in - cabinetry-grade refinishing (bathroom, bar, kitchen island, stairs) - honing and sealing marble counters In addition to communicating with me in our residence, he works seamlessly with a property manager we use for our second home. Things are rarely perfect in a construction setting but what I really like is that Kary stands behind his & his subcontractors' work when mistakes are made or $hit inevitably happens. As a specific example, we had to have some wood planks refinished after the moving in of a massive A/C unit scratched them up while being manually carried up 3 brutal flights of stairs. The refinishing wasn't completed well by the wood sub and it looked awful the first two tries. Kary paid to have a full section of the planks fully replaced (without a blink) and took full responsibility until we were happy with the outcome. He didn't battle my opinion or dissatisfaction - just said "I'm not happy until you're happy so that's unacceptable" and had it fixed. The icing on the cake for me has been a recent situation in which our newly purchased, new construction home (not built by him) developed a horrible roof leak that caused water intrusion into our master and associated mold. While fighting with our unresponsive original builder to try to help us remedy under our home warranty, Kary has been an invaluable resource & trusted guide. My husband travels frequently and was traveling with this occurred. I have a 6 month old baby and Kary has been extremely watchful of our family and mindful of helping me through this. Not only has Kary picked up my calls at all hours -- he has consistently "shown up" when I have been otherwise left high and dry. I have referred him to multiple friends including our high-end interior designer for her projects - all of whom have been thrilled with his work. I don't usually write reviews this long but feel his integrity warrants it.
