Going to Eric's was a Christmas gift from my son who he'd been going to for haircuts awhile now so he wanted me to enjoy my outing. Let me explain something.... all my outings have been health related for several years & going out for anytime takes planning. I am disabled, needing a walker for short distances & a wheelchair for longer ones. My son explained to Eric my special needs & he gladly said bring your mom. So. I was so excited about being pampered & having a real haircut by a professional rather than my scissors doing a butcher job to live with my hair. Eric was waiting and made certain my path was clear getting inside, making care to safely get me to the chair. He immediately put me at ease & I loved his rocker band feel while listening to soft Jazz. We spoke of my limitations related to any hair styling & although I never said specifically what I wanted.... he understood my needs. We then went to a very comfortable chair & sink to wash...ugggg my messy hair. He was absolutely fantastic, speaking of how to obtain & maintain clean hair, while he spoke briefly on certain products, he never pushed any. When he began the cut, he expained what he felt would be good, manageable & only needing another cut in 4-6 months. He understood how difficult it is for me to have an outing.... then showed me how to make tiny cuts if I needed to do a trim before coming back. He used a Paul Mitchell product, Skinny Serum which helps with drying ( I can't use blow drying or curling irons anymore) & I did purchase some. Then. I watched in wonder as he cut my hair beautifully & how I have dreamed of for 4 years!!! To be taken care of so well, my physical needs consistently watched over, my safety paramount & then to have a beautiful haircut.... It's priceless &.... the greatest compliment I can give him is this.... My barrettes are STILL in my walker & my hair is hanging, swinging perfect!!! normally... I walk out & Immediately pull my hair back in clips.. Lol. Not with this one. I'm so looking forward to returning to see Eric again. Thank you Eric.

I highly recommend eric! He has been cut & coloring my hair for 20+ yrs. I give him free reign to be creative and he never disappoints. Awesome colorist. I get frequent compliments, even in the grocery store!

Eric greeted me as I arrived and helped me find parking on a busy day. He patiently listened as I went through the history of my hair and past cuts; this was my first time at Eric's Salon. He regularly cuts my husbands hair and it looks great! They've been working on cultivating a certain look for my husband over the course of several hair cuts. The time we spent at the sink was delicious! He massaged my head before getting it wet and then washed and conditioned my hair. He continued to massage my head and requested we stop talking so I could fully enjoy the moment. I loved that! Afterwards he offered me hot tea or water; I chose tea. He paused throughout the cut to let me sip on it; yum! All through my hair cut he gave me tips on how to take better care of my hair, how to shampoo it, how to blow dry it, how to get the most out of styling it as well as how to finesse my stubborn cowlick. He mentioned a few products he thought would be best, which he had in his shop, but he didn't try to sell them to me. I've gone to other shops that really push product to the point that it's annoying, but Eric didn't do that. Along the way we talked about all kinds of fun things. He was super easy to talk with and I really like the finished styling. I had given him free range and he said he wanted to retain a feminine softness to the cut. My husband loves it and so do I! Thanks Eric!
