“Believe it or not, that badass snake is a cover up! Mario's work is incredible. He took a joke (still kinda funny but I was over it) and turned it into a masterpiece! He takes the time to make sure the design compliments your body. He listens to all of your ideas, concerns and questions and addresses them with professionalism and care. Hands down, will go back again...already have once for the spine tattoo that I absolutely LOVE. He's a rockstar!!“

“I’ve been coming to this tattoo shop quite a few times over the last year, and each time I’ve been welcomed by the warm and friendly artists who are extremely passionate about their work. I’ve mostly been coming to get some flash work done by ✨Rain and Ashlie✨, or to just hang out while my girlfriend gets her done and I always have a good time with them! I recently brought an idea for a tattoo that I’ve been wanting for awhile to Ashlie and she absolutely went above and beyond for me. The tattoo came out even better than I had ever hoped for, and the time and effort she put in to make sure each line was perfect was amazing. She always made sure I was comfortable and was doing okay since it was a longer session (6+ hrs of actual tattooing).

Ashlie is definitely a gem at Hard Times, and even though her main niche is anime style tattoos, she’s a versatile and talented artist that can bring your idea to life.

Rain is an amazing artist as well! They have an amazing eye for detail and have work that ranges from storybook characters to tarot cards.

“Fantastic!! My wife had a piercing fall out and the hole was closing up quick. Jasmine was able to see us same day. Everyone in the shop was super chill to talk to while I waited and were extremely knowledgeable about tattoos. Jasmine was fast and super affordable. Thank you again.

“The tattoo on your guys's page on James shepherd with a dragon that says Taylor over it is amazing work I love the way the dragon came out in the style that it was done in and the fact that it was a memorial piece means it's hard to get that perfectly right for that customer and she did a wonderful job and nailed it for him and couldn't have been more happy with the work he got and the piece came out absolutely beautiful a+ work

Requested style: I can't remember the name of the lady who runs the place but she can do many different styles very well and I was extremely impressed with what she could do I would recommend this place to anybody

Specialities: I specifically wanted to get my tattoo in black and gray wash only and she had no problem doing that funny experience do I need that type of tattoo work

Cleanliness: What place is extremely clean spotless from ceiling to floor the employees are very clean don't have extreme hairdos were heavily get all over the place or very well manicured nails and stuff of that nature yes it's just overall extremely cleaned business if it was a hotel I give it five stars“

“Hey, my 81-year-old dad wanted a tattoo of my mom so badly. He'd never had one before and was ready to go to any old tattoo shop. But I told him, "Nope, Pop, I'm taking you to a really special shop with an amazing woman who'll do your first tattoo. She's very picky about who she tattoos." And wow, he was so happy to have his first and only love inked on his right side. He's over the moon that he waited for Pym to give him his first. It's a loving tribute to the woman he married for better or worse. Thanks so much for treating my stepdad with the utmost respect and honor. I'll always be grateful. And guess what? He's already planning his next tattoo!
The shop is well organized. Super clean. The owner is cool. I've been to quite a few shops in my day and this one was fun. I really enjoyed watching everyone come in for their appointments and the process they go through. This is definitely IMO a 10-star shop

“Stefanie is AMAZING! This is one of the best shops I've ever been to. I am extremely picky about where I go to the point where it took me over 15 years to find a new tattoo artist. The shop is clean, everyone is super friendly, the atmosphere is great, and Stefanie and Tony are the best. I have been here 4 times since March and plan on coming back again and again. I highly recommend this shop.

From the start, Cailin's main goal was to make sure I was going to be happy. This was a cover-up, so it was very tricky. He also works side by side with Rachel, who in her own right is an amazing talent that I look forward to working with. The shop itself is by appointment only, as it should be with the level of talent within. The atmosphere is upscale and like a museum of original artwork by each artist. I would be lying to say that I didn't pine after each piece on the walls I would kill to own for my personal collection. The parking lot offers ample parking, with plenty of food and coffee choices adjacent. Do yourself a favor and make an appointment, you won't be disappointed.“
