I requested Doug repair some worn-out and broken guide channels in my windows. Basically, the builder-grade double-hung windows had broken down and would either get stuck or not stay open. I got several quotes and Doug offered the best price and also clearly explained what he would do and the parts he would order, so i went with him. He came on time, worked quickly, and was careful to advise me of possible future issues with one or two of the windows that had minor damage. Once he was done, every window worked perfectly and they have continued to work great. It's nice to have full ventilation again, and I recommend Doug to anyone looking for window repairs.

I highly recommend this expert window repair man who understands the best way to restore and repair double hung windows as well and always showed up on time with the correct materials. Restoration of quality old wood windows is the way to go & our home near the Beach is full of them. Thanks to finding Doug we now realize that restoration of the matching & attractive windows we have is far preferable to replacement. He specializes in older windows & he did a very professional job on 8 of ours. We expect them to last for a very long time & will be calling him back in the future as the other windows in our home are in need of repair.
