I have been getting my hair braided with purenatural365 for years now. She is very skilled and manages to style me better than anyone else can. I even see her do locs on other clients that amaze me every time. I always get compliments on her work. I highly recommend you make an appointment. Prices are reasonable and her work is definitely worth every cent.

TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN AND TO OFFICIALLY SET THE RECORD STRAIGHT, Today was my first encounter working with Ms. Shenique Marie and to say the least I will most certainly be back again. Shenique Marie was nothing less than a joy to work with and in this one appointment I can honestly say she tirelessly aims to please all of her clients and consistently goes the extra mile to provide top quality services to her customers' liking. Even with unexpected car trouble, she was able to keep our appointment which in retrospect was a very admirable gesture and testament of her character. For this reason, I feel compelled to respond to such a misleading review left by "Q S." who obviously seems to have Ms. Shenique Marie confused with someone else. I know for a fact that everything written in that review is false, because I personally overheard the conversation as I am the client that was being serviced during the phone call that took place between Ms. Shenique Marie and this mystery of a person whom has yet to disclose him/herself. Please note that I did not appreciate the first, second or third phone call made by "Q S." during my appointment nor did I care to hear the conversation but had no choice because some woman was shouting so loudly threw the phone. I'm sure I do not have to elaborate on my disgust in the obnoxious and tasteless choice of words used by "Q S." but if you need an example of her lack in poise and education....well just read the review. I'm sure you will be able to extract a rather detailed depiction of the juvenile maturity level that was displayed over the phone as her writing unfortunately supersedes her speech impediment in conversation . In short, I am sure an appointment was made by "Q S." but she clearly failed to read what is boldly written on Shenique Marie's website. HOUSE CALLS ONLY & NO REFUNDS not to mention in order to even schedule an appointment with her you are required to input the style you want and your address. Despite these clear instructions and from what I gathered overhearing the phone call, "Q S." showed up for a scheduled appointment to the salon even though Ms. Shenique Marie was only doing house calls. I think we can all agree anyone who fails to read and follow simple instructions may often find themselves in less than desirable situations. Despite her negligence Ms. Shenique Marie NEVER cancelled she instead offered to go to that clients location or refund their $35 deposit which she could and in my opinion should have kept. For whatever reason, this was not received well by the other party and senseless bicker by the other party ensued to which Ms. Shenique Marie said, "I am with a client and can not continue the conversation at this time, I will call you back." I think this was respectful and most appropriate being that she was finishing up my hair at the time. Needless to say ignorance has no boundaries and "Q S." called back-to-back three more times and text from about 5 different phones threatening a lawsuit from a so-called lawyer of hers which is pretty laughable to me. You refused to be serviced and got refunded a nonrefundable deposit which is going to show up in your account in the next 3-7 business days. I literally witnessed Ms. Shenique Marie refund your measly $35 by the way. So, what would your claim even be? Here's a little free advice for you, 1)if you are going to threaten someone with a lawsuit and have a fake "lawyer" try to scare the other party make sure its not a California small claims case in which lawyers are not even allowed to represent small claimants, 2) do not illegally record someone and try to use it as evidence news flash its inadmissible! 3) make sure the case is worth filing a $30 filing fee on a refunded $35 deposit seems pretty witless wouldn't you say? 4) Do not claim to be a suburban-dwelling professional and literally contradict every inch of the sense in speech and in writing over $35 and lastly do not rake up charges in a coun

Shenique is amazing. She's easy to set an appointment with and does a great job helping me color my locs and fixing extensions. She's my go to for maintenance and coloring. The products she recommends are always the best. Working with her is always a fun time. I recommend her to anyone who needs someone who's consistent with all their black hair needs
