This place is trash!!!!! I don't know how they are still in business. Unexperienced staff, nurse never answered the patient when calling on the buzzer. Patient was high risk fall and never arrived even after talking to the person who spoke on the speaker!!! Avoid going to this horrible Hospital

I thought my hip was dislocated, as there was a large protrusion sticking out of the area where I had had a hip replacement a while ago, called 911, and they told me that every other ER was full and closed to ambulances, so they were taking me to College Hospital, which I'd never heard of. Upon arrival, I was taken through cluttered, messy hallways, every corner crammed with people sitting unattended on gurneys. I was put in a room which had 2 beds. My first "roommate" was a quiet woman; when she left, she was replaced by an older, alcoholic man experiencing a manic episode, restrained to his bed, and loudly spewing an endless stream of profanity and nonsensical stories. I'll spare you the unappetizing details, but sanitation lapses caused me to decide that I would not allow them to perform any invasive procedures on me, and started texting friends in the medical field to see how I might get out. Everyone's response was, "What are you doing there? That's a mental and drug rehab hospital!" The staff argued with me that my only options were to be admitted and let them treat me, or to sign an AMA (against medical advice) form and walk out on my own (but I couldn't walk). Two friends finally arrived and took me to another hospital where I was treated. Never again!

I'm veryplease though I felt different this morning. For it was first to be in this hospital I appreciate Edgar to make feel welcome and safe he smiled at sincerely and assuring my partner Tim will ok I'm thankful to the night headnurse thatshe is really a good from within beyond just being a nurse and nurse Kathy. With her confidence and youthfulness that she takes care of her patient very well and last the lady who patiently whoi. Listened to me and allowed beyond the visiting hours I find that. Very personal and very very respectful nurse Theresa sweetheart who cared that will I be alright cause the late night and have me ezcortedby Avery Polite security and ending my night with. Jolly woman night security guard overall it was pleasant although they are not all smiley my impression is that they are all focus on there assignment for every patient and very ready to save lives I left Tim the man that I have LOVE for 19 years that he will be ok and he is safe and love and well surely get well in this hospital thank you for you good hospiity from the morn Ing security guards and to your rules which j cooperated thank you very much I love you daddy Tim see tomorrow after my visit to Ms Wendy
