This is the best vet with the kindest doctors, staff, and despite being busy, they maintain the best attitudes! I moved to another county, tried another vet that was not as good, and still keep coming here!
This hospital was highly recommended to me by VCA La Mirada Animal hospital A great experience here at the Long Beach Animal hospital(morning time). They also have a wildlife program. We brought in a distressed slider turtle, from La Mirada Regional Park. The poor turtle had a fishing hook stuck in its tongue. They took very good care of it- x-rays,
procedure to remove the hook, sent off to rehab for a few days and released back to its habitat. Also the two ladies that were in the front showed concern and were helpful?
5 Stars isn't enough to exemplify my gratitude for Dr. Ridgeway and his team! My sweet 16 year old Shih Tzu, Pumpkin, injured her spine and was partially paralyzed on her left side. After it first occurred, she couldn't walk and was in a ton of pain and anguish. Since there was no availability at LBAH that day, we took her to an emergency vet. The emergency vet told us the only options were $20K surgery or PTS. Obviously I was devastated. They prescribed her pain meds which helped a little, but she still experienced much anguish the next few days. Every waking moment was horrifying for her. We were left hopeless.
