I gave 4 but really 3.5 It was almost a great massage. The place is super nicely decorated and the rooms are very quiet and clean. It was relaxing just being in there. The staff was friendly. My one dissatisfaction was the actual massage. A couple instances where the therapist was pressing on my bones rather than my muscles. Didn't really do use any pressure. Basically just an oily back rub. The atmosphere was great, but the initial reason I went was to undo some of these knots in my neck and back and I did not feel there was any effort to achieve that.
Jason gave me a deep tissue massage, stretched me out and I received hot stones. I've seen some of these reviews and a little shocked. I go to their Studebaker location every time I visit. Great prices and gives me exactly what I asked and then some!
ASK FOR MAY! She is amazing! I have been coming here for a while and I always have a good experience - I like they have the stepping option for your massage. The staff are nice and respectful and the place is clean with plenty of parking in the back or street parking. The only thing I would say is the tip suggestion at the front desk, a good rule of tipping is 20% of the total service cost, however, generosity is also appreciated if the service was above and beyond.
