I do not write reviews, ever. But this place deserved it. I was in from out of town for a few weeks, and looking for a good barber. After stopping at multiple spots on a Sunday that were reservation only, I stumbled upon this place, and I am glad I did. As most were waiting for the owner, I rolled the dice with the first seat on the right, and she did an amazing job. I went to another barbershop 2 weeks early when I first got to long beach, and if I am ever back, I will for SURE use Junipero. All the people working there do a great job so there's no need to worry if you'll get a good haircut. I usually go with Sophie since she does appointments by phone. I've been going to get my hair cut by Anna since a kid, around 2003. They're reasonably priced compared to other shops. Make sure to bring cash because they don't accept credit cards or any other form of payment.

I used to drive an hour to get a haircut for $9 but that was just too far, so I decided to try this place. The two ladies are very friendly and know their hair. I explained a custom haircut and they nailed it. Totally going back. Make sure you call and make an appointment or else you can wait a while.
