I booked with Taj @Tamed_by_taj for a partial weave no wash. She seemed professional, responsive when booking and appeared to be a really good stylist. The curls and flatness of the weave was nice at the TOP! once I got to my car I put my finger through my weave & was like WTH is going on under here. The base at the bottom and sides were big & bulky. I immediately texted her. I got no apology, no let me redo it, she blamed ME. She offered a partial refund a day later and She stop responding to my texts & I never got a refund. Do NOT book with her or you will he highly disappointed. I should have looked on her Instagram before booking and I would have seen the reason she had a failed hair salon in the city of Carson, she will not have a returning clients without taking taking accountability for this horrible job. I would NEVER book her again or suggest anyone go to her.
I booked an appointment 2 weeks before today and mailay text me 1 hr before my appointment to tell me . She has no braider & she doesn't know how to Braid. 225$ for a wig install and she doesn't know how to braid . She cancels the appointment. I ask for my deposit back she said yes but never sent it . My birthday is tommarow and mailay canceled my hair appointment and kept my deposit . Mailay is rude ghetto unprofessional and ignorant. I will never book again or recommend. Very disappointed in their customer service. Daughter had a 4pm appointment and never received a recent or calling informing her that the stylist was running late. We dropped her off and they made her sit outside for over 45 minutes in 80 degree weather! I run a service business and would never and have never treated a customer that way. Beyond disappointed.
