Great barber shop. Always clean, and they have 4 televisions with surround sound. Darryl and Tony are great at their craft. They are wonderful with difficult children. I have seen it with my own eyes where a child was literally kicking and screaming. But by the end, SOMEHOW, Tony cut his hair and it looked great.
I usually cut my 3 year old's hair myself. But this time my clippers died just after I let my son start his own cut, so he had a chunk cut out of the front and out of the back, lol! I needed him fixed up since family was coming the next day. I took him to the closest barber shop and hoped for the best. A Friday afternoon is usually a no-go for walk-ins at a barber shop, but we happened to luck out. I popped my head into the shop and asked the barber if he does kids' cuts and if he'd be willing to do my 3 year old's first real cut (I'm a patient parent of little kids but understand not everyone is cool with wiggly non-compliant little kids). The barber said sure thing, bring him in. Phew. I brought my little one in. We properly met Darryl, our barber. Smiles and handshakes all around. Darryl was great with my son. -Very patient, friendly, and accommodating. I let my son watch videos on my phone to keep him still not knowing how he'd deal with a proper professional haircut. But he did great. I think Darryl was a tiny bit hesitant with my son, not knowing if he'd flail around, so a couple of edges weren't finished. That's totally ok. As far as Im concerned this was a very successful first real haircut and we'll be back to see Darryl. Can't beat having a nice barber walking distance from home. Thanks Darryl!
