I must preface this comment of mine by stating that this is my own personal opinion - no more, no less - and that I am speaking here only for myself in this respect. Having said that, I can now say that I have been seeing Dr. Hugo Gonzalez as my Primary Care Physician for about a month now, and for a total of three appointments so far. During my first appointment, I began to realize that if I am courteously forthright with my questions and concerns [and even statements of opinion] regarding my medical condition and options for treatment thereof with the Doctor, he then may be more inclined to be forthright and honest about what exactly his job is and why he is doing what he is doing, in prescribing these medicative methods of treatment for me. And this is exactly what happened: in effectively so delineating the finer points of the legal obligations of his committed work, he actually told me my legal rights as patient, based upon his legal obligations as a faithfully educated and committed Medical Doctor to diagnose any malady I may have as such, and to prescribe the medicine he felt it necessary for me to receive and to take under his medical prescription and supervision. He then mentioned that the patient then has the right, under his legally-guarded right to informed consent, to elect to vote for either taking the prescribed medication, or not. Once the parameters of this legally-protective physician-patient relationship had thus been duly vocally established by Dr. Gonzalez in my mind, I then was able to see that the Doctor actually was there to serve to honor the legally-protected choice I had to both respect his medical credentials which served to inform his operative commission as a Medical Doctor so under sworn Hippocratic Oath to thoroughly provide the most proper medical care he could to his patient, whilst at the same time vocally expressing his knowledge that the patient does in fact have a legally-protected right to take or not the medication thus so prescribed to him. Once I understood that aspect of the physician-patient relationship as expressed to me by Dr. Gonzalez, I then felt more comfortable in simply letting him do his job with all due respect to his Official Doctoral Licensure as such, and understanding as well that if I am courteous to Dr. Gonzalez, even as a result of my gratitude for his forthright honesty towards his patient in that regard, then the physician-patient relationship tends - almost inexplicably, it may seem - to move forward at a more convivial pace; this, of course, applies to the relationship between the patient and the clinic staff serving under Dr. Gonzalez's supervision. Once I realized all this, I felt more at ease with the Doctor in his office at every appointment since the first one about a month ago. So, if I were to rate Dr. Gonzalez for simply doing his job well and without therefore my misunderstanding anymore why and/or how he is doing so, then I would give him a 9.5 out of 10. Of course, in a 5-star system of ratings, that would round up to 5 stars. If I'm happening to get any takeaway from my own comment as I'm finishing writing it, then it simply would be this: Don't be afraid to ask any question of the Doctor about the diagnosis of illness of and/or the prescribed medicative treatment he may have for you as the patient; he is simply doing his job, as such; Knowledgeable courtesy in this regard on the part of anyone as the patient toward the physician and/or clinic staff thus may go a long way in serving to maintain any newly-established parameters of mutual understanding and respect in that regard; and A good sense of humor on the part of the patient towards the entire medical-care-centered situation at hand is not necessarily a bad thing at all, especially in this day and age. And, If you've made it to the end of this comment intact; then you probably still remember what it was like, back in the day, when we all generally used to read books: And there's nothing wrong with that at all, In My Humble Opinion; For What It's Worth. I live in the bay area and have been unsatisfied with my usual deva curl specialist for years. Was in town visiting family and scheduled with Jenn and have never been so happy with my hair!!!! It is curlier and healthier than it has been in a long time and jenn has taught me so much in terms of how to care for it and get the best frizz free curls!! She is also a pleasure to spend time with and I look forward to my services with her. I've gone back to her twice now and will continue to come back! I got a regular pedicure (no gel) it was around $40! I would say that the salon was peaceful and I loved how nice the owners were! I got a great service! I came in just for some quiet time for myself and it was so relaxing! For the service( massage, hot stones, hot towels, a scrub, it was worth the price! In LA that would be an easy $100+ service. Would be coming back

This is a locally owned family business. Joey, one of the owners, was very friendly and easy to talk to. They are competitively priced. In fact, when talking to the owner, you don't feel like they're trying to nickel and dime you out of your money. On several occasions, to my surprise, Joey talked me out of unnecessary repairs, even though it would have meant more money for their business.
We had the sewer lines and supply lines replaced and re-piped. This is a big labor intensive job. I called around to four other plumbing companies for estimates and Rieck Plumbing offered the best prices, by far. Shockingly, most plumbing businesses won't be bothered to do this kind of work because there's more money to be made doing simple service calls and less hassle.
To be critical, I would have to include that Rieck Plumbing's biggest weakness would have to be poor communication. This project would take several weeks. On many occasions, I didn't know if I should expect plumbers to show up that day or not because one of the phases had been completed. Also, we were never given an option to choose between copper and PEX pipes. It was assumed that we wanted PEX because we showed concern over the overall cost. You will need to be proactive in asking questions, getting clarification, and letting them know what your preferences are. The good thing is, their staff is more than happy to answer questions and they don't make you feel like you are burdening them with your inquiries.
It's worth mentioning, that the plumbers working in my house, Nick and Jose, were completely professional and trustworthy. They weren't snooping around the house or taking things that didn't belong to them. *Cough* Oliveira's *Cough*
Overall, I would highly recommend Rieck Plumbing. They are competent, hard working plumbers. They're reasonably priced. Over the years, I've used many different local plumbers. I would go as far to say that they're the best in town!
We've been going to Rick for our problemsome house's plumbing for over a decade. He is always easy to reach, prompt, professional and efficient. When he fixes things they stay fixed.
Had a plumbing issue on a Friday night 430-5 pm called no answer hug up but to my surprise I got a cll back from plumb perfect , explain my issues and with in 10 minutes the guy who called me back came over and was able to stabilize the issue. This was so great since I would not had water thru the weekend. Very happy with this plumbing service

Very responsive, arrived and completed the work in the same day. Super nice and respectful. Even though having someone work on or repair your house is always more than you want to spend, I felt the price was very reasonable and the work was very professionally done. I hope I don't have any more plumbing issues, but if I do, I will definitely call this place again.

So Watt Electric is the place to go! They have a worker named Elijah who I talked with and he is not only a great worker for Watt but has a great personality and a great work ethic! Also the supervisor Zach is a more than qualified individual and knows the job! In addition Zach was more than helpful, just like Elijah and their price is more than fair! Jaime does a great job with my biannual cleanings. She was even able to accommodate me when I was 8 months pregnant. I don't know where to start in recommending ACH because there are just so many great things to address. I'll try ;0).....The staff is very accommodating, caring, and friendly-just outstanding; Dr. Mendez and Dr. Axline are extremely competent and go above and beyond the call of duty-they also love your babies as much as you do; and staff appropriately prioritizes/triages in order to do everything they can to address the immediate needs of their clients. I really do think of ACH as family. We have moved 1.5 hours away, but we still come back for our annuals and vaccinations due to the special bond ACH has created with our fur babies and us.
I am extremely grateful for all that Dr. Sam and his staff did for my beloved Bailey.Being new to the area, I had taken Bailey to three other places before being referred to Dr. Sam. One in Goleta and two others in Thousand Oaks, one being Bailey’s long-term vet, before I had moved to Lompoc. Apologies for this long review, however, my hope is that it will help others if they are looking for a veterinarian and will help make the best decision where to take their pets.The last place I took Bailey, my dog (Boxer), in Goleta, gave me 3 options/surgeries for medical treatment. All 3 options were so expensive and not all the treatments would have truly benefited her condition. It was also delivered in a very matter of fact way; it made me very sad and I felt hopeless. As most of us feel/know our pets are truly family members and they depend on us. There was no care factor or compassion for our situation from the veterinarian. The medical assistant showed concern and in a caring way referred me to Dr. Sam. He said, “That’s where I would go.” I called West Valley before I left the parking lot and explained the situation. His staff was kind, compassionate, and they got me in the very next day.I was extremely grateful for Dr. Sam’s expertise, direct communication, high level of experience, and personal compassion he showed for myself/situation and my beloved Bailey. Along with his willingness to go above and beyond for the most positive outcome. I will always be sincerely grateful.
