I came in with a Mustang purchased out of state with excessively dark window tint. He talked to me and let me know what's legal (in California, at least 70% visible light transmission for front windows, which is more or less how they come from the factory) and what the differences are (another place tried to convince me that 35% tinting was legal). The tint he uses is very possibly the best available. Pricing was great. Call ahead because he is justifiably busy.

I went in with a plan. I wanted x to do y because z. I researched. So I told him my plan and asked his opinion. He helped me and sold me less because I hadn’t considered all of the factors. The guy knows his business and knows how to get you what you need as a customer. My F350 Tony looks great!
I’ve recommended this shop to three friends already who need tint on their vehicles, and I’m bringing my other car there soon to redo some old scratched tint.

Starting this off saying 12/10 recommend!
Got my MYP & first ever EV a few weeks back—with the recent heat wave, I got my car tinted on Wednesday. Matt (owner) of Rocky Mountain Windowtint in Livermore did the best job I’ve ever seen. He took the time & recommended shades to match the factory color in the rear with seamless transitions from front to back.
**Side note for Model 3’s: he does a single piece of film for the rear window—not like most that only do 1/2 the glass worth, leaving an apparent transition from roof glass to rear window**
