Overdue review I had teeth cleaning with Dr. Luu 2 years ago in 2021 during the covid time. My first impression walking to the office, the front desk had no greeting and no smile. They won't ask you do you need help with anything even if they saw me walk into the office. I had to walk up to tell them I had an appointment. Anyway, I visit this office twice. The first time the Doctor say in a nice way I need deep cleaning, however, I didn't do it. 6 months later I went back for my second annual cleaning. This time the Doctor rise his voice say to me, I already told you, you need to do deep cleaning, your gum is bad and you will lose all your teeth. One of his staff was next to me when she heard the Doctor says that to me. She shakes her head to agree with Dr. Luu. When I see her reaction I was like WTH, now I get why your staff is impolite and unprofessional. In my head was like no matter what, you don't rise your voice to patients, and I will do the deep cleaning somewhere else at least with a nicer Doctor, I will never come back here again. In 2022, I went to a different Doctor and I insisted to ask do I need a deep cleaning. This Doctor told me no you do not need deep cleaning at all, your teeth and gum are healthy. This year 2023 I went to another Doctor, this Doctor didn't even say I need any major services like deep cleaning, my teeth and gum are healthy. Because of my insurance, I go to different doctors. Why am I writing this review after 2 years later, it is because I have seen two doctors, and none of them told me I need deep cleaning besides Dr. Luu. Not sure if he is still new to dentistry, he needs more experience or he needs to work on his customer services skills or he wants to get more money from his patients but for sure I won't go back to Mint dental.

I just started here after obtaining Delta Dental. I am extremely happy. Dr. Eric Lu u is extremely easy to talk to and really gave me assistance with my sister besides taking excellent care of me. I really recommend this dentist.

I have many experience with Dr. Luu. He was very gentle and professional. I finally changed the dentist because I moved to another place. It is very hard to find a dentist I can trust. Strongly recommend him!
