I've been here a couple of times and really impressed. The inside isn't fancy, but the professionalism and technique is what I'm looking for. I barely feel the needles going in! I like that he also has Chinese herbs available. Last - he takes Kaiser insurance!!
This was my first experience with acupuncture and cupping. I Came after after my tennis elbow became so severe where I started have pain from my neck down to my hands with numbness on my fingers. Within my first couple of treatments I could feel the immediate effects. The neck pain and numbness is now gone. Doctor Xie is very attentive and knowledgeable. He's open to address any questions I had, and gave detailed information on the treatment he's providing. The rooms are very clean and hygienic. I can't recommend this office enough.
***** Attentive/accommodating ***** Competent/customer service/clean ***** Understanding ***** Patient ***** Upstanding ***** Neat ***** Caring ***** Thoughtful ***** Underrated/industrious worker ***** Respectful ***** Effective treatment I don't know how I hurt myself (sleeping on my side, using computer mouse wrong, getting older, or all of the above), but I do know I waited too long before seeing a professional. Primary Doctor prescribed me a muscle relaxer and I use other sources (Oska Pulse pain reliever, Tens machine, chiro, Swedish massage) before taking any oral meds. I've seen a chiro, to no success, but I felt this is more of a nerve issues so I seek for a nearby acupuncturist (www.ashlink.com/ash/kp). A few places are booked or most didn't answer phone or return my voicemail. Vincent answered phone and accommodated my schedule. This place always have people, but never in the waiting room, as if Vincent schedules patient just perfectly or most patient arrive on time. He's fast, always on the move. I hate being late for my appointment, I wanted to be 15 min early for initial visit due to paper but there was a major traffic on 580 and he was very understanding (I kept him informed with my delay, communication is key). Vincent looks like a soloist, he answers phone, welcome patients, treat patients, clean after each patient, and take payment. Vincent does it all!!! Vincent is more gentle than my previous acupuncturist. Vincent suggested not to use tens on top of the needle on my first visit, which I was relieved. I had a few visit and felt better after each visit. He puts the needle in with ease and with hardly feeling it, I use the a home kit TENS machine and that is far more painful than Vincent putting needle in. He turned on this red light to lessen the inflammation, and he was very accommodating with my sensitivity to heat. The place is minimalist, clean, and he follows CoVid mandates (Vincent wears mask, face shield, and gloves). I'm looking forward to getting treatment for other issues and I'm going to convince my kiddos to get acupuncture too. I will create a new review later (from my kiddos perspective).
