It took me years to find this vet and team. Lost my first vet and went others that where terrible. My girls mean the world to me, so when I hand my girl off to Laura ( she is great, fantastic and has empathy for the your fur kids ) I know she is in great hands.

I absolutely love Altamont Cat Hospital and everyone that works here! Everyone has been so kind and knowledgeable. I have two cats of my own and then was recently fostering two kittens that a coworker found on the streets. I am so appreciative of Dr. Mathews and her team for taking such great care with these babies and for taking the time to help them. I love that the team takes the time to explain everything in depth and answer questions. I leave each appointment feeling confident that my animals are getting the best possible care that they can get. Thanks so much!

We needed a vet for our new kitties and this place was recommended by several neighbors. I called Monday morning and the man that answered said they didn't have any appointments but he could take my information down and call back if anything opened up, so I did that. I didn't have high hopes given the reviews on here, but just a few hours later I got a call back from them with an appointment available for the same week! I was really impressed when I went in. They are an all cat vet so the kitties don't get scared by any other animals, and everything is set up just for cats. Because of covid their waiting room isn't open and you have to call when you get there. I answered a detailed history of the kitties over the phone and then one of the vets came out and helped me carry them inside. Both vets were so gentle with the kitties and explained every single thing they were examining and why, and what they found. We needed pills given and the vets did it like a breeze, giving me pointers at the same time which was super helpful. My kittens handled their first vet appointment really well and I think it was because of how great the vets were. The prices were very affordable too, and the new kitten exams were complimentary. I'm so happy that this place was recommended to me, I feel like our new kittens are in great hands.
