“In all honesty I used Google to find the closest barber to my son's house. This place poped up so I walked a little over a half mile and walked in. I didn't realize how popular this place is. I was asked if I had an appointment which of course I didn't. The Barber looked at his watch and was trying to figure out what time he could have me come back. (I already knew I wasn't coming back if it was going to be any longer than a half hour as it was hot outside and I had walked there) so barber askes me what kind of cut I was needing, I told him just a fade. He opened the seat up and fit me in. I was very appreciative of this. The haircut was great, exactly what I asked for and the barber was very nice and talkative. He introduced himself to me and gave me his business card. Gabriel, thanks for the great cut I'll come back and I encourage anyone reading this review to just call make an appointment, you won't be disappointed.“

“I stumbled across this place on my way to another place to get my haircut and I was pleasantly surprised. I said to myself, “this looks like a REAL BARBER SHOP” and it was. I love the old school vibe with the checker board floor and the sports memorabilia all over the walls. It’s a huge space with lots of room to just hang out if that’s your thing. I’m pretty sure the guy that cut my hair was the owner but I didn’t catch his name. I’m guessing he was a Lopez since the sign on the wall says “Lopez Corner”. He was a great guy, old school and easy to talk to. No nonsense and understands the value of customer service. I didn’t realize that he is a cash only shop so I didn’t have enough cash to pay in full. He is so cool, he told me whatever I have is enough. I really appreciated his good nature and great service. The haircut was great, I can’t recommend this shop enough. Although I live over an hour away I’m certain I’ll be back when I need another cut. If you’re not into the foo foo cut and want an old school barber you have to try Percy Avenue Barber Shop.“

I was a walk in appointment on 4th of July and Hector got me in there super fast and all I did was show him a picture off google and he took one look at it and had my hair looking exactly like the photo I showed him in no time at all. Not only that but their prices are better than anywhere else I called around to and to top it off everyone there was friendly and genuinely smiling. I am officially making this my home for haircuts.
