We had floors installed through Absolute Best Flooring in 2020. (They were wonderful and professional through that whole experience). Fast forward to 2023, our fridge had a slow leak in the water line and it damaged part of our floors. Mike really helped us out and made sure that we were able to get the floors fixed and changed as soon as possible. I cannot recommend them enough!
I have been here twice for flooring.The first time I came service was amazing from start to finish. My mom wanted hardwood flooring downstairs and everything she ordered she received. The hardwood flooring was installed on time and there were no unexpected surprises the day of installation. Six months later we decided to return to Absolute Best Flooring and get carpet for the upstairs. We wanted carpet in all 5 bedrooms, stairs, and upstairs hallway. On the day of installation, we were told the workers would come at 8:00 am and start installation promptly. Well, the day of installation came and the two workers did not show up until noon. No one called and apologized for running late. We received no explanation of why they were tardy. When the workers finally showed up at noon, we asked why they were late. With an attitude the workers, said, "We have been driving since 5 am." After they finished installing the carpet, the workers informed us they forgot the wall border and would have to come back tomorrow to finish the installation. This was an inconvenience for us because we were told the job would only take one day. We had to miss work the next day to allow them to finish a job that we were originally told it would be done in one day. The workers told us they would come at 8 am the next day, and they showed up at 10:00 am. Lastly, the border that was installed was not the one we ordered. When we called the office the lady who took our order, apologized and said we can get the correct border done in one week. We declined that offer because we just wanted it done. She could have given us a discount, but nope. We will never come back here again.
Return customer here... had them install carpet in a couple rooms of my home back in 2020. The guy that came out to measure showed up and asked to borrow a measuring tape from me since he forgot to bring his to come measure. Thought that was odd but, ok... we all have our days, maybe he was having a rough one that day and made a mistake. Nothing was mentioned... fast forward to 2023 and I return to them to install flooring in basically my entire home. Paid in full and scheduled my install for 4/20. Get a phone call 4/16 from the owner Mike asking if I was ready for them to arrive for install 4/17. I have other plans and appointments during the week at this point - scheduling them around my install date. I told him we scheduled for 4/20 and he made it obvious he had messed up the schedule and asked if they could come out 4/24 instead I told him no problem. 4/24 comes around, I'm home waiting and 9:30am nobody has showed up yet. Give Mike a call and he states he forgot to put me on this schedule completely. I'm irritated at this point but ask if he can come the week after (giving his company another chance) and he agrees, apologizes, offers me some of my money back and promises the work will be done in a day. They ended up showing up to that last rescheduled appointment but it did take 2 days (I get it's a lot of work so not super upset about that... but i was still promised work being finished in 1 day). When it came time to issue that refund he offered he wouldn't return my texts or answer my calls unless I blocked my number. Nobody in his store knew how to issue the refund and he apparently had to be there for it. I went in and they asked to write down my credit card info and give it to him for him to issue the refund at a later time, but at this point I knew better than to rely on something to happen at a later time here or leave personal financial information with them to just be lying around.I'm giving 3 stars because the crew that came out did a great job and I do love my floors and baseboards. It's unfortunate that although Mike is very nice, he seems to also be very unorganized with running this business. I was hoping to hire them for countertops and backsplash too but have decided to go elsewhere simply due to the fact they are unorganized. Being nice is great... which they are... but my schedule is just as important as yours and I refuse to pay someone just to be forgotten again.
