This was a complete gamble that paid off. I had some leather repair work I needed on a briefcase and the closest leather-smith with decent ratings was outside of my typical radius of activity. Still, the ratings looked compelling, even though a part of me is always sometimes a little skeptical of something appears too good to be true; so,I figured I'd take the risk and message the company through Yelp. I have been using Mr. Shoewash for over a decade. The only thing that's better than their great service is how nice they are. Services I've used over the years includes: - Having my shoes shined - Having my shoes resoled - Having the soles reglued after they fell off (apparently that is a thing) - Having my uncomfortable shoes made more comfortable If this is close to where you live, just go there because you won't find anything better.

I bring my well cherished J's here almost on a weekly basis because Mr Shoewash does a good job every time, he washed inside and outside plus he removes as much crease as possible. Lucky for me that he is literally 5 minutes away, and his pricing is affordable and very reasonable.
