This review is mostly for Yalda! I started coming to her about a year ago for haircuts, after a particularly unbalanced one left me frustrated. My hair is thick, coarse, and heavy—something that many hairdressers struggle to work with. Very disappointing experience. Despite the store being nearly empty, employees stood around instead of helping. One associate said she’d check on something for me but then just disappeared, and another was unhelpful and unfamiliar with the brand I needed. When the shade I wanted was out of stock, they said they couldn’t call another store to see if they had it. It felt like no one cared to do their job, and I even saw the first associate chatting with a coworker instead of assisting me like she said she would. Terrible customer service compared to other Ulta stores I’ve been to.
