My sister is physically and developmentally handicapped. She has required hospitalization a couple of times that has lead to her needing to stay at Palm Terrace. They have always made her stay pleasant and made her feel special. She loved all the staff, nursing and p.t. The facility is clean and well managed. Communication with staff was excellent.
My father had an amazing experience with his care at Palm Terrace. He has been in skill nursing in the past recovering from a hospital stay at a different location nearby. Needless to say his previous experience was not a positive one. He was not looking forward to returning to skill nursing. But, to his surprise he was so well cared for at Palm Terrace that if he were ever in need of such care again this is where he wants to be. The staff across the board was top notch. I was recommended to bring my father to this facility by a very dear friend who is in the Healthcare industry. We arrived after a month of hospitalization/skilled nursing at a horrendous facility which I will not mention, back to another hospital at which time things looked really bleak. He recovered and our fear was that he would not be cared for well enough and would end up back at the Hospital. The complete opposite happened.
