“First off, I NEVER write reviews. This is probably the 2nd or 3rd one I've written in my life. Second, I've had ALOT of work done to my mouth over the years from fillings, to extractions, and multiple root canals topped off with pretty little crowns. So, I've done the carousel dance in and out of many dental chairs, bringing my prior anxiety and concerns to each new encounter. Trust in a dentist has been really hard to find, which is what led me to write this review.I am not a Gentle Dental patient at the Laguna Woods office, but my encounter with Dr. Jain and her dental assistants at my Gentle Dental home office (where she was filling in) was UH-MAZING. She was knowledgeable, confident, deliberate, and controlled in her craft. There was no BS. She was honest yet empathetic, and I was able to voice my concerns without feeling dismissed. We all want certainty when we're trusting someone in a vulnerable situation where we've got both our mouth and pocket book wide open. And in one visit, I found that. I sat down not knowing what to expect and left feeling lighter and ready for my follow-up appt (more crowns) because of the relief that newfound trust had brought me. If you've struggled with dental visits in the past, and your experience is ANYTHING like mine was, you won't be disappointed.She is so good, I'm actually considering the jump from my home office to hers, which is a drive for me. But when you find someone you know and feel you can trust, it's hard to consider compromising for anything less. Hope I can make it work!“
