They have been in the same location for over 30 years and offer fair prices for both adults and kids. Joe is skilled at cutting various hair types, including curly and wavy hair, and provides a personalized and satisfying haircut experience. The shop hosts several chairs and experienced barbers who are keen to listen and deliver the desired cut. Customers appreciate the old school equipment and the down-to-earth atmosphere, which gives a true old-fashioned barber feel. The shop offers the lowest price men's cut in town at $22, likely due to being cash-only. Customers note that the barbers are skilled, especially with shears and clippers, and the environment is welcoming. Despite some reviews mentioning politics or TV content, the focus remains on quality service and a friendly experience. Many find Joe's Barber Shop to be their new go-to spot after trying other places, valuing the personalized attention and fair prices.
I’ve gone to more expensive modern day barbers… My haircut and my beard pretty much looked the same…only I paid much more at the modern day Barber! In other words… There really was not much of a difference and I’d saved a lot of money!

As we know, barbers are a personal choice and not easy to change once settled in.

I believe I’ve found my new barbershop, after a long series of drop-in sessions around Orange county.
First time getting a cut at Joe's! It's the closest barber shop to where I live and by far has the lowest price men's cut in town ($22), likely because it's cash only. I enjoyed the old school equipment and down home feel. I got my cut from Richard, who did a masterful job with both shears and just a bit of clippers. I really felt like he had an exceptional level of skill with the shears. I've seen other reviews that claimed they don't use shears here, only clippers, which I found was not the case. And while they did have your regular KTLA daytime tv on, contrary to other reviews, the only whiff of politics I caught was a headline mentioning Trump on one of the newspapers one of the staff was reading. I don't mind having differing political views as long as conversation stays polite and respectful. I will definitely come back for another great cut and will update the review if anything else to report
