“I went for my first post-surgery lymphatic drainage massage today. I am 8 days out. I am swollen and bruised and sore. I have not been sleeping well and am generally uncomfortable with 3 drains in. (I had a full lower body lift.) I really didn't think they'd be able to do much; I went in so sore and hoped that any touch would help. Holy smokes! Gabby massaged me exactly as I needed! If you have long hair, best to put it up. StressBusters is booked about a week in advance. They are very polite. Remember that you should say something if the massage therapist needs to adjust pressure. For years at other places, I just endured the pain, only to regret going and left wondering how anyone could possibly feel at ease.
