Had to get my first ever mammogram. And it was a very non scary experience. The reception area is nice and the receptionist was courteous and efficient. No wait. My appointment started as soon as I finished filling out my form. My technician was Nadia and she was kind, friendly, gave clear instructions and made the mammogram an easy experience for me. The only annoying thing was it took almost a week to get my results. My Dr office had to call them to get the results. I wish they would be faster with that.

First time here and I do believe I'll be making this trip again. I was going to Oakland Alta Bates for my exam but when given a choice to go to Lafayette, I took it. Super easy parking. There are several free parking lots behind the businesses. The facility is on the 3rd floor and there is an elevator on the parking lot level. The office is warm. A little more than a normal office would be. I'm sure the intent is total comfort. It's the kind of environment Alta Bates strives to achieve and is successful. Quick in and quick out. No do overs. The technician could see that the images were good and I was released from the jaws of death. I don't think there's a woman out there that looks forward to this horrid exam, but the possible alternative gets us into the exam room. I received my results within an hour. Front desk staff are courteous and efficient. All precautions are being taken regarding Covid-19.
