What's not to like? It's in a nice area and the shop has a nice vintage feel to it, displaying its roots as a local barbershop. I started going to Maria in Pleasanton, over 30 years ago, and I have never had a bad haircut, in fact, I still get complements on my hair! Check her out, you won't be disappointed!

Seriously worth this 5 star rating. We've been here twice now. Maria is super patient and kind. My son's hair is curly, but thinning with age. So he doesn't have the glorious mane he use to and long around the sides with balding on top isn't a becoming look. Maria has shortened things up and he looks so handsome. The curls are trying to sabotage our efforts, but so far we are winning. Maria has a calmness and a confidence that puts you at ease. And she's quick. We we're in and out in no time. I had her trim me up as well (ladies and children are welcome) and I'm extremely happy with my trim. Walk ins are welcome too. Parking is a little tight and there are meters. That's right in front of the shop. I've been able to park in front so far, so am not sure if there is a lot somewhere. We'll worth the trip I have to make to get there. Very happy and highly recommend.

Great haircut from Maria! Maria and Nancy used to cut hair at the Moraga barbershop for 17 years until it changed ownership. Last year, they bought this Lafayette barbershop when the longtime owner retired. New location for them but same great cuts, for a very reasonable $30. Walk ins welcome but I'd recommend making an appointment.
